"No fooling - at Nofu Clinical Skincare, it's all about creating healthy glowing skin. Susan Dressler has been working in clinical skincare for almost 15 years, and she named her salon "NoFu" because it's a no "fu-fu" place. Dressler believes that most salons offer "fu-fu" treatments, or a lot of fussing without real, lasting results - basically, style without substance. As part of the initial client consultation, Dressler evaluates diet as well as current skincare regime and gives recommendations for changes with gental humor (no coffee for rosacea sufferers, for example). Clients get a very thorough facial, including extractions and analysis, and leave with a more luminous complexion. Dressler specializes in problem and ethnic skin. One skincare product line that she carries was originally formulated for cancer patients, so its products are gentle as well as effective. But, truly, the best recommendation is the way your skin will feel afterward."
