What is an Infrared Sauna?

Infrared saunas have a 3 part wavelength that penetrates one's skin, goes into your cells, and heats up your core. This allows for a more comfortable heat that is neither dry nor wet.

The infrared will increase circulation, lower blood pressure, bring moisture up to the surface of the skin, decrease internal inflammation, and help your body detox.

It is always important to maintain proper hydration levels during infrared therapy. Dehydration will actually increase carbohydrate utilization and cause less fat to be burned for energy. We highly recommend drinking a minimum of 8 oz. of water prior to entering the sauna and a minimum of 8 oz. of water after sauna use. 

FAQ’s

  • Must drink 8 oz of water before your session.

  • Bring a large filled water bottle to the appointment. 

  • Must wear underwear or bathing suit bottoms for men and women. 

  • If getting a facial in addition to the sauna, the sauna must be booked as the last appointment, so that you can go straight home to shower. 

  • Must do any workout before the sauna. 

  • May bring an Ipad to watch Netflix in the sauna.
