Nofu Chronicles #15 - Every End is a New Beginning

Marketing is a huge part of owning your own business. While working at Spank, I put an ad for Nofu in the Alameda Sun. Lo and behold, a couple of weeks later, the owner of a local construction company would offer me to rent his historic building. This would turn out to be the landmark Maybee building and the original train station of Alameda, built in 1876.  I had many amazing times and learning experiences at Spank Salon, ever so grateful.

One month after my ad in the Alameda Sun, I was in my new location. Being on my own would prove to be an empath's dream. The shop was slammed, and having my brick-and-mortar location was an accomplishment.

Noticing that acne clients were coming in more than usual, I realized clients were trying to navigate the skincare industry on their own. This resulted in clients who were becoming products junkies. Soon, I would have a niche of these acne-prone clients trying to self-diagnose their skin. This is not an easy industry to navigate, hence the need for a professional esthetician.
